Our safety philosophy
HOW EVERY VISIT IS PROTECTED
Every HYDROINFUSION visit follows the same fixed sequence: medications sourced only from FDA-registered 503B facilities and PCAB-accredited 503A pharmacies, an individual clinical review by an Illinois-licensed Family Nurse Practitioner before confirmation, administration by clinicians with at least five years of experience, and continuous monitoring with emergency protocols in place.
Our safety philosophy
Mobile care removes the clinic walls, not the clinical standard. HYDROINFUSION was built on the position that an infusion in your living room deserves the same sourcing, screening, documentation, and preparedness as one delivered in a hospital infusion suite. This page documents exactly how that standard is kept, so you never have to take safety on faith.
Clinical review before administered
No infusion without a clinical review
Steps
- Individual intake: You complete a HIPAA-protected health intake covering your history, current medications, allergies, and goals.
- Clinician review: An Illinois-licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with Full Practice Authority reviews every single intake before a visit is confirmed. This is a clinician reading your chart, not a triage algorithm.
- On-site verification: Your clinician confirms your history in person and checks vitals before preparing anything.
- The authority to say no: If IV therapy is not safe or appropriate for you that day, your clinician has the legal authority and the standing instruction to decline, modify, or reschedule, and you are not charged for a declined visit.

What happens at your door
No infusion without a clinical review
- Sterile, single-use supplies: Every needle, catheter, line, and dressing is sealed, single-use, and opened in front of you. Nothing is reused between clients.
- Aseptic technique: IV placement follows the same aseptic standards used in hospital settings, including hand hygiene, skin preparation, and sterile field discipline
- Monitoring throughout: Vitals are checked before the infusion begins and monitored through the visit. Your clinician remains on site for the entire infusion; no drip is ever left unattended.
- Prepared for reactions: Severe allergic reactions to IV nutrients are rare but possible. Your clinician is trained in emergency response, carries an emergency protocol for anaphylaxis, and will activate emergency services immediately if ever needed.
- Documentation: Every visit is charted in a HIPAA-compliant record, so your history follows you to your next visit and can be shared with your own providers at your request.
Clinical rigor, delivered to your address Every visit screened, sourced, and monitored to one standard
Extra safeguards for advanced protocols
No infusion without a clinical review
NAD+ protocols
We require an initial clinical consultation before scheduling your first visit to ensure NAD+ therapy is appropriate for you and to review your health history in detail. During your infusion, our team adjusts the infusion rate in real time to support your comfort and tolerance. If you experience mild side effects, such as nausea, these symptoms typically improve quickly when the drip is slowed or paused briefly. For safety reasons, NAD+ infusions are not recommended for individuals with an active cancer diagnosis or those with a strong family history of cancer.
Compounded formulations
All formulations are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies that follow strict quality and safety standards. Because compounded medications are customized for individual patients, they are not FDA-approved like mass-produced drugs. We’re transparent about that from the start: the disclosure appears clearly on every protocol page, so patients and providers can review it upfront. It’s never tucked away in fine print or buried in hard-to-find terms.
Eligibility screening
This applies to every advanced protocol we offer: during the intake process, your clinician will review your history and needs to confirm that the approach is clinically appropriate for you. While our services are described and advertised clearly, no protocol can be guaranteed to fit every client or situation.
HIPAA-protected, NDA-backed
Your health information lives in HIPAA-compliant systems, is never sold, and is shared only with your consent or as the law requires. Beyond HIPAA, every HYDROINFUSION clinician signs a non-disclosure agreement covering everything they see and hear in your home, office, or hotel. Discretion is not a courtesy at this practice; it is a contractual obligation.
What we will not tell you
Part of clinical safety is honest marketing. HYDROINFUSION does not make exaggerated wellness claims, does not position wellness services as treatment for disease, does not use countdown timers or fake scarcity, and does not use referral-fee arrangements with licensed healthcare partners. These are wellness services; statements on this site have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Frequently asked questions
Q1:Is mobile IV therapy safe?
When delivered by licensed clinicians with proper screening, sourcing, and monitoring, IV wellness therapy is generally well tolerated. HYDROINFUSION protects every visit with an individual FNP review before confirmation, sterile single-use supplies, continuous on-site monitoring, and emergency protocols. Your clinician will decline a visit that is not clinically appropriate.
Q2: Where does HYDROINFUSION get its IV ingredients?
Exclusively from FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities and PCAB-accredited 503A compounding pharmacies, with documented chain of custody. Never from the grey market or unverified importers.
Q3: What is the difference between a 503A and a 503B pharmacy?
A 503A compounding pharmacy prepares patient-specific medications from individual prescriptions under state board of pharmacy and USP oversight. A 503B outsourcing facility compounds larger batches under direct FDA inspection and cGMP manufacturing standards. Neither dispenses an FDA-approved final product; the difference is who regulates them and how.
Q4: Who checks my health history before a visit?
An Illinois-licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with Full Practice Authority personally reviews every intake before any visit is confirmed, and your clinician re-verifies your history and vitals on site.
Q5: What happens if I have a reaction during an infusion?
Your clinician remains with you for the entire infusion, monitors you throughout, and is trained and equipped to respond to reactions, including activating emergency services immediately if needed. Severe reactions are rare, and telling your clinician about any allergy history before your visit is the single most important step you can take.
Q6: Can HYDROINFUSION refuse to give me an IV?
Yes, and that protects you. If your intake, vitals, or history indicate that IV therapy is not safe or appropriate that day, your clinician will decline or modify the visit, and you will not be charged for a declined screening.
